TimeLogger 2.3.1 now available

costmo — Wed, 01/25/2012 - 09:40

Thanks to an expedited approval process by Apple, TimeLogger version 2.3.1 has been released and is now available as a free update. This update fixes crashes experienced by iOS5 users who have backups from previous versions sitting in their iTunes documents.

As always, we thank you for your support and invite you to contact us with questions and suggestions.

TimeLogger crash after update

costmo — Thu, 01/19/2012 - 18:09

We have heard from a number of users who are experiencing TimeLogger crashes after updating to version 2.3.0. This problem is not affecting everybody, and we have been unable to replicate it in development so far. However, we are actively working with a number of affected users to track down the source of the issue.

Please feel free to use out contact form if you would like more information.

journalPad on a (hopefully) short hiatus

costmo — Tue, 10/11/2011 - 23:10

We made a decision to temporarily pull journalPad from the App store prior to the release of iOS 5 because it has a significant bug on iPad 2 devices running iOS 5, and we are unable to devote the time necessary to get it fixed immediately.

We'll get back on it as soon as possible, and everyone who owns journalPad will receive the updated version for free when it is available.

Not sure if journalPad is the right iPad journal for you? We have put together a demo video to convince you that it is!

Thank you, Apple!

costmo — Mon, 07/11/2011 - 14:10

More than one year ago, we received publicity when we had to change our app "journalPad" to "journal.APP"

For those of you who remember, I received an email from Steve Jobs claiming that the use of the word "Pad" was infringing on Apple's trademark. For those who don't remember, here is the link:
http://9to5mac.com/2010/04/13/steve-jobs-apple-owns-the-trademark-on-pad/

It appears that our voice has been heard and Apple has done right. (keep reading for the details)

TimeLogger 2.2.0 update approved

costmo — Thu, 02/10/2011 - 01:18

TimeLogger version 2.2.0 has been approved by Apple. For some odd reason, the Free version is stuck in Apple's approval queue (good reason to just purchase the full version?).

Among other things, this version adds support for audio recording of voice notes! Check out the User Guide on the TimeLogger page for the full details of what TimeLogger can do. Or click "Read more" below to see the full list of changes.

New Features

* The ability to record audio notes! Don't want to type your notes? Now you don't have to!

One more note for the night

costmo — Wed, 01/19/2011 - 01:35

Our previous hosting company inexplicably disabled a service that rendered password recovery in our iPad apps broken. Unfortunately, their tech support was less than useful and could never even figure out how to properly contact a system administrator to see what change had been made.

The good news is that we have made the jump to a new hosting provider, so the password recovery mechanism should start working again immediately.

Who knew that good money could pay for such lousy service and great service could be obtained for so little? I do now!
