Request for configuration option: turn of autocorrect
costmo — Wed, 09/17/2008 - 01:28
We have received a request to offer an option to allow users to turn off the autocorrect features (suggestion of words when you are typing new entries).
If we were to offer this capability, would you like to see it turned off for for clients, categories, job or notes individually or just for all fields?

Autocorrect Incorrect
Anonymous — Wed, 10/22/2008 - 17:22If this capability were offered, I'd like to be able to leave it on for some fields, not all or nothing.
But even better, I'd like to see the fields pick up or type-ahead from previous entries. If I start typing the client name, I would like it to pop up, a la OmniFocus.
RE: Autocorrect Incorrect
costmo — Fri, 10/24/2008 - 01:09Thanks for the suggestion.
We will keep this in mind when implementing the on/off feature of autocorrect.
BTW, the iPhone 2.2 firmware, which is in beta and available to some developers has a configuration option to turn off autocorrect for the entire device.
Thanks again.
